In the long-term, in any commercial society, there has to be control exercised from a governing body to prevent criminality taking advantage. The only regimes which are able to be disregarded under this requirement are those such as street food vendors that do not accumulate sufficient profit to attract the attention of manipulators.
I find this article impersonal in that it appears to disregard the possibility of any trader having a hard life. I suspect there much much poverty hidden in this ad hoc commercial operation which leaves the better off to live their lives contentedly, both financially and morally. and
